Jesus Christ is the second member of the Trinity. The Trinity is composed of God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. God the Father is the Creator of all things, God the Son= Jesus Christ the Redeemer of humankind through the work on the Cross. Holy Spirit is the Sustainer of humankind. Holy Spirit empowers us, keeps us connected, and lead us in the way that is pleasing to the Father. Jesus through the work on the Cross took the punishment of all of our sins (Isaiah 53). His death is very significant but His resurrection is the birthplace of the Christian faith.

~ Philippians 2: 5-11 declares that Jesus now has all power in His hands, and a name that is above every name.

~ Acts 4:12- It is by no other name which men are saved. Jesus loves us so much, the worst pain that could ever be inflicted was His greatest pleasure.
