Divine Unity Righteously Applying God Ministries operates as a non-denominational ministry. The following statements of faith are beliefs that have been agreed upon by the leadership of the ministry in accordance to the Word of God. Divine Unity Righteously Applying God Ministries Believes in the following items:
- The Holy Scriptures, Bible: Holy and infallible word of God used to instruct all of God and direct all to God (2 Timothy 3:16-17, James 1:22, 25, Psalms 119).
- The Trinity: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit: God exist as the Triune Godhead: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit (Genesis 1:26; Deuteronomy 6:4; 2 Corinthians 13:14).
- God the Father:
God the Father is Creator of ALL, including heaven, earth, living creatures, the universe, etc. (Genesis 1). All things were created to display the attributes of Him (Romans 1:20) and to render worship and praise of who He is (Psalms 150:6).
- God the Son, Jesus:
Jesus is the Son of God (Matthew 16:16-17) and the Deliverer, Messiah, Savior of all mankind (John 1:29). Jesus is God in the flesh (John 1:1-2, 14), that came so mankind can be unleashed from the punishment of sin (John 3:16; Romans 6:20-23).
- God the Holy Spirit:
God the Holy Spirit convicts of sin, separation, and rejection of God (John 16:8). However, the Holy Spirit becomes our comforting and sustaining guide (John 14:26) and also empowers believers to be effective witnesses to the world (Acts 1:8).
- Sin:
Sin entered into the world through the disobedience of Adam and Eve (Genesis 3). Due to their sin (missing the mark or standard of God), sin has enslaved mankind (Romans 6:17) and has made us all face the punishment of sin, which is death (Romans 5:12-14).
- Salvation:
Salvation is being delivered, set free, forgiven, and saved from the penalty of sin and separation from God, which is only made possible through the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ (Romans 6:3-6; Ephesians 2:12-18; 1 John 2:1-2). By the shedding of Jesus’ blood, believers now have access to eternity with the God the Father (John 14:6, John 3:16).
- Ministry and Gifts of the Spirit:
Upon being placed in the body of Christ through conversion and regeneration of the heart by the Holy Spirit, the believer now functions by the grace of God to operate, service, aid, etc. the ministry of Jesus Christ to other believers and non-believers alike (Romans 12; 1 Corinthians 12; Ephesians 4:7-8).
